Criminal Record Rendered Spent

INTRODUCTION

Under the Registration of Criminals Act 1949 (RCA), a criminal record is a record of a conviction or sentence given by the courts to an individual who was found guilty of committing a registrable offence.

The RCA allows the criminal record of an individual that is kept in the Register of Criminals to become spent, if the individual has met the qualifying criteria stated within the Act.

Individuals can use this service to check if their criminal record had been rendered as spent.
